What are the responsibilities and job description for the Postdoctoral Researcher / Research Associate - Biomaterials position at NC State University?
The laboratory’s research areas include biomaterials, drug delivery, and bioprinting.
Members are required to possess solid foundational scientific knowledge and skills while understanding the theories and methods of clinical research.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
● Be able to perform lab related skills in chemistry, biomaterials, or related fields.
● Scientific writing for lab research.
● Develop proposals that seek funding from federal agencies and industry in related areas of research.
● Conduct experiments using cell/animal models.
Preferred skills include, but are not limited to:
● Experience in 3D biprinting
● Experience in purification techniques such as column chromatography and/or HPLC, and in the characterization of chemical compounds.
● Experience with cell culture and/or animal studies.
● Experience with inhaled drug delivery.
