About the Department : The Industry Expansion Solution is a major component of the State’s economic development operation by diffusing engineering, science, knowledge and technology to North Carolina industry, business, and public agencies for the enhancement of quality, productivity, and environmental protection.
Responsibilities Include :
- Strategic Marketing and Communications : Collaborate with the marketing team to implement a strategic marketing and communications plan.
- Content Creation : Create original content to promote resources, programs, initiatives, and events.
- Social Media : Maintain and enhance the social media presence.
- Website Content : Improve website content, SEO keyword identification, and site functionality.
- Newsletters Development : Prepare content for internal and external newsletters.
- Events Coordination : Support in-person and virtual events with promotional materials.
- Networking : Develop and maintain effective working relationships with communications and media colleagues.
- Digital and Content Asset Library : Develop and curate the library of social media content and digital images.
Other Responsibilities : Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
