What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician - Residential Service position at NC Water Heaters?
Our electrical division, NC Home Electric, is looking for a Service Electrician to join our residential team. The Electrician will be based out of our Raleigh office and is responsible for providing on-site client estimates, installation, repairs, and maintenance of wiring & electrical fixtures. Experience with EV charger installation is preferred!
The ideal candidate is prompt and reliable, has superior support skills and excellent communication. They will have a proven track record of client satisfaction and is motivated to provide superior service.
Responsibilities:
- 5 Star Service – Provide stellar customer service in diagnosing, repairing and installation of electrical systems, including EV chargers. Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelines. Troubleshoot each problem and guide customers on how to properly use equipment. Create reports of customer service calls. Make suggestions for equipment upgrades while maintaining the current inventory, including vans and trucks.

Requirements:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing residential electrical systems and fixtures.
- Rough in and trim out electrical related to interior remodel projects.
- Inspecting and testing electrical systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
- Inspect and perform electrical repairs and replacements.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests through rotating on-call.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Complete all required documentation in mobile app
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as an electrician.
- Good working knowledge of electrical products and materials.
- Proficiency in using electrical tools.
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and patience.
- Physical dexterity.
- Valid Driver's License
- Trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship (preferred)
- Tech savvy, able to use software. Experience with Service Titan is a plus
