The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting, coordinating, and leading a variety of marketing programs and communications efforts, with the goal of continuously improving key metrics. Responsibilities
- Supporting the Society's marketing efforts, including some independent management of projects and coordination of cross-functional team efforts. The duties include sourcing, writing, editing, proofreading, QA testing, A / B testing, designing, and / or posting content for a variety of communications channels, including email, blog, social media, website, and print.
- Monitoring active marketing campaigns and analyzing past campaign performance to suggest ways to improve those campaigns. Leading and managing campaigns and exercising independent decision-making authority.
- Contributing creatively to content ideation and generation across all marketing platforms. Working closely with colleagues in both marketing and communications colleagues and other staff teams, as well as with member volunteers, to align messaging and promote content effectively.
- Managing and sending bi-weekly member email newsletter.
- Analyzing campaign analytics from Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other platform reporting tools to assist with data-driven campaign strategy optimization.
- Contributing to overall marketing and communications efforts, which may include overseeing Google AdWords campaigns, supporting member surveys, and SEO optimization.
- Staying abreast of trends and best practices within digital marketing and the association industry.
- Serving as a resource for senior marketing and communications staff who need assistance with completing large projects or undertaking some departmental administrative tasks. This can include providing secondary support on member committees.
- Some travel may be required to ESA's Annual Meeting, ESA Branch Meetings, and / or training / educational programs, for a total of approximately 2-3 weeks a year.
- Other duties as assigned.
