The department’s goal is to identify, analyze, and understand member needs, and to use these critical insights to define, communicate, and deliver a premier member experience.Position SummaryThe Product Marketing Associate (PMA) will join an exciting, fast-paced, dedicated team. The primary objective of the PMA is to dig deep into their assigned area to really learn about those products / services inside and out and get that messaging out to the right audience, with the right messaging, through the right channel. This PMA position will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive awareness and adoption of various programs for AILA’s membership. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, as well as a proficient tactician with experience assisting / writing marketing plans and executing campaigns. This is a very collaborative role and this person will work closely with other departments.Essential Job FunctionsMarketing Strategy - 30%Collaborate with product owners on understanding pertinent details to create and execute marketing campaignsConduct member research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviorsCampaign Execution - 50%Own the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social / paid media, web, and eventsDefine and write the content for marketing campaigns and sales collateral. Work with graphics, website, and CRM teams to fully executeManage website content related to your areas of responsibilityProject Management - 20%Work regularly in cross-departmental teams to develop successful campaignsAssist product owners in ad hoc projectsMonitor and analyze campaign results provided by the data and reports team to optimize marketing strategies and tactics.Assist Director of Product Marketing as needed for ad hoc projects.RequirementsEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. A degree in marketing, business, or communications is preferredFour plus (4 ) years of marketing experience, preferably with associations and membership modelsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple projects simultaneouslyExceptional team player and a can-do, positive attitudeExperience with Legal Services or Immigration Law is a huge plus but not requiredOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsProven skills to identify new and better ways to drive the businessStrong organizational and project management skills with a bias for actionTrack record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaignsExperience with website content and HubSpot preferredOccasional travel may be required for this role, including attendance at meetings, conferences, or events as necessary to support the organization’s initiatives and objectives.Our WorkplaceWe offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment with a competitive compensation package based on your experience and qualifications.
