Description
The System Administrator supports a mixed Windows and Mac OS environment, along with custom web application systems for business activities. They ensure information systems, infrastructure, and cloud services are available, reliable, secure, and stable, working independently with minimal supervision.
Major Duties:
- Hardware and software support via helpdesk ticket system
- Installation, maintenance, and monitoring of systems and network devices (servers, desktops, routers, firewalls, etc.)
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and software updates
- Ensuring software licensing compliance and system security
- Training staff on hardware and software use
- Maintaining backups and performing disaster recovery tests
- Executing infrastructure projects and performing periodic account validations
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in a related field is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of technical experience
- CompTIA A or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of: Windows/Active Directory, JAMF Pro, Command line and shell scripting (Linux, Windows, Mac OS), Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Intune, Sharepoint etc.) , Amazon AWS (Identity Center, Cognito) , Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) , Zoom Workplace , Fortinet, SonicWall, Unifi, VMWare
- Strong work ethic, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment
- The position requires occasional after-hours and weekend work.
