North Carolina FC Youth (NCFC Youth) is a non-profit youth soccer organization home to more than 16,000 players (ages 2.5-19) and their families each year. Through full-service programming, NCFC Youth offers youth soccer for all levels of play – from Recreation and outreach programs up to the highest levels of elite competition. The Position: The Regional Area Registrar is responsible for managing all phases of player registration for the Classic and Juniors divisions in the area/region they are hired for. The position requires working with the NCFC Head Registrar and NCFC Directors to ensure that registration rules and guidelines are followed.
Essential Functions:
- Expected to become certified and remain current as NCYSA/US Club Registrar, which requires training online and off site
- Responsible for verifying necessary paperwork, birth certificates and photos for all players that will be participating in the Classic, NPL, and Juniors divisions and for entering information into the NCYSA database to ensure all players are properly registered as assigned by Head Registrar
- Verifies that team staff and managers are risk managed for the season
- Responsible for ensuring all NCYSA Classic, NPL, and Juniors players’ passes are properly validated, signed and laminated.
- Responsible for ensuring each Classic and Juniors team has all their players’ passes and validated rosters.
- Process international Clearance paperwork for foreign born players
- Assist with transferring, adding and releasing Classic and Juniors players as directed by Age Group Directors.
- Assist Classic team Managers with questions throughout the year.
- Provides support to directors in all phases of tryouts including set up, finding volunteers and player check-in
Qualifications/Competencies:
- High School Diploma or higher required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Experience with youth registration systems a plus

- Detail oriented
- Able to multi task
- Professional and knowledgeable in interaction with membership and other employees
Job Type Requirements:
- Part time position
- Required time – This varies depending on the time of year.
- More hours are required during peak paperwork times, tryouts, carding and tournament times. This will include multiple evenings and weekends.
Work Environment/Travel/Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Most of this person’s job is conducted in the office or at home, but occasionally, work will require this employee to attend outdoor youth sporting events during all seasons, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather, to fulfill job responsibilities and event support
- Physical demands: bending, sitting, lifting, and event set-up
