JOB SUMMARY
The Orthopedic Radiologic Technologist plays a crucial role in producing high-quality radiographic images while ensuring excellent patient care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce detailed images using comprehensive knowledge of radiographic techniques, including collimation, anatomical positioning, and equipment operation.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures while minimizing exposure risks for patients and staff.
- Perform examinations efficiently, maintaining department standards for repeat rates.
- Evaluate and critique films with the ability to repeat as necessary.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols for the protection of patients and colleagues.

- Provide comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs, demonstrating competency across all procedures appropriate for varied patient demographics.
- Utilize PACS effectively and ensure proper maintenance of radiographic equipment.
- Maintain consistent awareness of equipment conditions and report issues promptly.
- Organize and prepare patient information and documentation for radiologist review.
- Assess radiographs for technical quality and precision.
