Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Provides nutritional care information, safe food handling, and other related in-services to facility staff.
Contributes, participates, and supports the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) approach to providing quality care for residents.
Maintains regular and predictable on-site attendance.
All other duties as assigned.
Activity Requirements
Sedentary Work: Continuous sitting at desk, keyboard, etc., for several hours. Occasional lifting of under 10 pounds as required.

- Provides dementia friendly care through demonstrating an understanding of dementia, North Central Health Care’s dementia services and the Legacies by the Lake dementia care philosophy
- Locates areas of resident activity
- Promotes a safe, homelike environment for residents
- Interacts with residents in a manner that displays warmth and promotes a caring environment
- Observes residents for changes in condition or behavior and promptly reports these changes to appropriate licensed nursing personnel
