The Opportunity:
The Safety and Security Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operation of North Central Health Care’s Security Program with guidance from the Manager of Safety and Security. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining a secure, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, clients, staff, and visitors. This position provides leadership and oversight to the security team, ensuring that security protocols and procedures are always adhered to. This position will assist the Manager of Safety and Security with administrative duties as directed.
This is a full-time position from 6:00am – 6:00pm on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. The starting pay range for this role is $20.75 - $23.00

What You’ll Do:
- Support Safety and Security Officer in their job performance
- Develop and implement system standards, training documentation, policies, and procedures
- Create Safety and Security Officer Schedule
- Oversee completion of daily security tasks
- Monitor and assist with fire drills, safety drills, inspections, and Environment of Care rounding
- Monitoring and rounding of NCHC grounds related to security issues and prevention, including door lock checks
- Onsite and remote monitoring of NCHC camera systems and response to safety and security events, including code response
- Security screening for patients/clients/visitors to Acute Care Service programs
- Maintain a neat and organized security office
- Assists with regulatory matters with guidance from NCHC leadership
- Adheres to scheduled work hours with regular and predictable attendance
- Participate in the hiring process
- Train new Safety and Security Officers
- Coach, mentor and advise safety and security officers
- Assign to and monitor work of safety and security officers
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year relevant supervisory and security experience
- Reliable attendance and transportation
- Passion for working with a diverse population.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
What You’ll Get:
- Full-time position from 6:00am – 6:00pm on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. The starting pay range for this role is $20.75 - $23.00.
