NCI Affiliates is a non-profit organization committed to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Services Job Coach to provide training and support to individuals in our Supported Employment Program. The successful candidate will ensure that services rendered meet or exceed agency expectations and will be available to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous instructions for work specific to vocational growth and training objectives.
- Monitor contract requirements to ensure quality of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitized environment in accordance with the Department of Health Standards and Regulations.
- Exhibit a courteous, positive, and professional demeanor while working with individuals served and the community.
- Ensure timely submission of all required paperwork including transportation paperwork, attendance, job coach notes, objective sheets, incident/accident reports, time studies, and case management documentation.
- Perform janitorial duties including servicing, cleaning, and supplying restrooms, gathering and emptying trash, litter removal, cleaning of building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, and dusting furniture, fixtures, walls, machines and equipment.
Qualifications
- Janitorial experience
- High school education or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with developmentally disabled adults preferred.
- Must have own vehicle and maintain a current California driver’s license.
- Must provide on-going proof of current state required auto insurance.
Compensation
Competitive compensation package. Anticipated pay rate is $19.50 to $21.50 per hour, depending on experience. Apply now for a $250 Hiring Bonus!
