The Rover position provides a unique opportunity to learn all aspects of the agency and the many different supports we provide. This job offers a great introduction into what we do- you could be guiding clients through janitorial, landscaping, or retail tasks, depending on where you are needed!
Job Summary
The Job Coach-Rover provides training and support to Individuals in order to ensure long term success. The Job Coach-Rover is responsible for providing safe and effective guidance to supported employment work crews in order to meet and exceed the expectation of the contract site to which they are assigned, as well as expediting the work training experience. This position has no supervisory duties.
Essential Duties
Provide individuals with continuous instructions for work specific to vocational growth and training objectives to correspond with abilities and development.
Assist individuals served with coordination of transportation to and from the job site.
Keep open communications with the Supported Employment Supervisor and other Job Coaches.
Execute and monitor contract requirements to ensure quality of workmanship and customer expectations are being satisfied
Understand and submit all paperwork as required by deadline including transportation paperwork, attendance, job coach notes, objective sheets, incident/accident reports, time studies and case management documentation
Qualifications/ Skills
Must be able to successfully pass a Live Scan background check.
Must have a California Driver’s License for at least 2 years with no major infractions in the last 4 years.
Obtain a high school diploma or GED.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to be flexible with your work schedule and work according to company needs.
Have patience, compassion, and ability to be a role model for adults with disabilities.

Compensation
The anticipated hiring range for this role is $19.50-$20.50, depending on experience plus benefits and perks.
