Responsibilities include:
- teaching four courses in the math curriculum in grades four through twelve
- participating in grade-level team planning meetings with math colleagues
- implementing inclusive, anti-bias, and anti-racist pedagogy
- contributing to the life of the school outside of the department
The ideal candidate will:
- have a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred
- have experience in teaching at the middle or high school levels, and a commitment to teaching in both divisions
- have a commitment to the education of girls
- possess excellent communication skills
- be collegial and enjoy working collaboratively on the curriculum
- understand the needs of students at various levels of intellectual and social development
- demonstrate cultural competency
