DESCRIPTION
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, customer-focused insurance professional who excels in email communication and has a strong ability to analyze policy options. The Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent – Email & Requote Specialist will manage inbound and outbound email inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to customers. Additionally, this position will proactively review policy renewals, particularly those with rate increases, and remarket coverage options across our partner carriers to provide customers with the most competitive premium rates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Email Processing & Customer Communication:
- Manage and respond to inbound and outbound email inquiries related to policy information, quotes, renewals, and general customer service.
- Ensure timely and professional responses to customer inquiries, maintaining a high level of accuracy and service excellence.
- Work collaboratively with the sales and customer service teams to escalate complex issues or follow up on pending customer requests.
- Responsibilities are not all inclusive, additional duties may be assigned.
Policy Remarketing & Quoting:
- Identify and review policies experiencing rate increases with a single carrier and proactively remarket those customers with other available carriers.
- Conduct comparative analysis of premiums, coverage, and benefits across multiple insurance providers.
- Provide recommendations to customers based on their specific insurance needs and budget.
- Communicate with underwriters as necessary to confirm coverage details and eligibility.
- Document all interactions and quoting efforts within the agency management system.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules preferred.
- Preferred, but not required, Active Property & Casualty Insurance License in Kentucky.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to operate computer and other equipment in the office. Must have sufficient mobility to move around the office and the community.
