POSITION SUMMARY :
Accounts Payable Specialist responsibilities include processing of all invoice, check requests, purchase order matching and expense report auditing. Reconciling of all vendor statements. Duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness of all accounts payable tasks. The function of this position is to ensure timely disbursements for vendor / employee payments and reports to the AP Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Retrieve invoice from invoice workflow que and determine if invoice needs to be processed as manual invoice journal or via PO matching.
- Responsible for scanning all invoice prior to processing invoices in Ax Dynamics System
- Process all invoice (PO and manual) with a focus on compliance with corporate policies and coding / approval verification prior to input into ERP system.
- Audit employee expense report to ensure compliance with published Travel Policy before approving the expenditure in the ERP system for payment
- Timely completion of the weekly AP cycle
- Duties include timely handling of all invoice and expense report inquiries by internal and external vendors.
- Weekly matching of invoices and check, check disbursements and filing of all related documents
- Maintaining of W-9 vendor files
- Assist with retrieval of invoice copy as requested
- Produce error-free accounting reports
- Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned

Experience and Training :
Any combination of the following experience and training (designated as required and / or preferred) that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Experience : 2 years of AP experience
Education : BS in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Licensure / Certification : None

SALARY RANGE & BENEFIT OPTIONS FOR COLORADO APPLICANTS :
Salary Range : Base Salary of approximately $45,000 - $60,000 annually plus bonus - compensation is commensurate with skills & experience.
