POSITION SUMMARY: 

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Programmatic Advertising Specialist to guide and optimize our digital and programmatic advertising efforts. This position will play a key role in defining and driving the strategic direction for our programmatic advertising business, while actively executing and managing high-impact campaigns. As a subject matter expert, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Ad Operations, and external partners, to ensure the effective execution of campaigns that meet client goals and deliver measurable results. A strong analytical mindset, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate and collaborate across teams are essential for success in this role. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • The  Programmatic Advertising Specialist will oversee, optimize, and strategically direct the execution of NCM’s digital, programmatic, and DOOH campaigns. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
  • Strategic Campaign Oversight: Own the end-to-end execution and optimization of digital and programmatic cinema campaigns, including creative asset collection, campaign setup, trafficking, delivery, reporting, and troubleshooting, ensuring alignment with overall programmatic strategy. 
  • Campaign Optimization & Performance Leadership: Lead daily reporting and optimization efforts to improve campaign delivery, performance, and efficiency, driving towards client-specific goals and strategic KPIs. 
  • Data-Driven Insights & Strategy: Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to optimize campaigns. Recommend and implement best practices to enhance performance and support both the Ad Operations and Sales Teams in achieving their objectives. 
  • Technical Troubleshooting & Support: Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues, campaign performance challenges, and troubleshooting efforts, offering innovative solutions to ensure campaigns run smoothly and meet expectations. 
  • Vendor and Partner Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors, platforms, and partners, ensuring you stay ahead of industry trends and best practices. Share this expertise with internal teams at NCM to continuously improve operational performance. 
  • Sales Team Collaboration: Serve as a key partner to the NCM Sales Team, providing strategic guidance and expert knowledge on programmatic offerings, optimizing campaign setup, and ensuring smooth communication and execution across teams. 
  • Leadership in Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and proactively solve issues, driving improvements across all areas of programmatic operations. 
  • Prioritization & Workflow Management: Effectively manage multiple high-priority projects, balancing deadlines and ensuring the team remains agile while maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 

  • Proven ability to lead and make data-driven decisions that align with business goals and deliver measurable results for both internal teams and clients. 
  • Expertise in programmatic advertising platforms and technologies (e.g., DSPs such as The Trade Desk, Simpli.fi; DMPs such as Salesforce, Transunion; SSPs like Place Exchange, Vistar). 
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights that drive campaign success. 
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to work with complex spreadsheets, databases, and formulas to analyze and report on campaign performance. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence across teams and external partners. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities. 
  • Self-starter with a passion for problem-solving and a strategic, proactive approach to overcoming challenges. 
  • A deep understanding of programmatic advertising, media buying, and digital media strategies. 
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision and accuracy in execution and reporting. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Significant experience with programmatic advertising technologies and platforms. 
  • A track record of driving the strategic direction and performance of high-impact digital and programmatic advertising campaigns.

Experience and Training:  

Any combination of the following experience and training (designated as required and/or preferred) that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.   

Experience: 

2-3 years of experience/knowledge of digital advertising, programmatic media buying and/or agency experience preferred but not required 

Education:  

BA/BS degree in related field. Or relevant work experience  

WORKING CONDITIONS 

Work Conditions:   

This job is currently on a hybrid work schedule. A hybrid schedule will consist of both remote work and in-office work in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and scanner/photocopiers. A company laptop will be provided.

SALARY RANGE & BENEFIT OPTIONS FOR COLORADO APPLICANTS: 

Salary Range:  Base Salary $65,000 - $80,000 annually plus bonus - compensation is commensurate with skills & experience.
