Job Title: Finance Contract Associate
Department: NFC Equipment Finance
Reports to: Operations Team Lead
Direct Reports: None
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Position Purpose:
To support the department with the front end financing process until finance agreement is booked. Ensures data and other information is accurate from application to booking of the contract. Interacts with others in the department, vendors and customers as necessary to facilitate efficient processes.
Essential Functions:
1. Supports departmental goals with regards to preparation and sending of finance agreements and verification of yield, payment and costs. Inputs applications into loan software database. Verifies licenses and corporation verifications. Processes all incoming faxes. Follows up with customers regarding their finance agreement and documentation. Sends financing approval notifications to vendors and suppliers and follows up with them regarding invoicing. Completes verbal verification with customer. Ensures turnaround time meets all established guidelines. 50%
2. Assists with funding of finance transactions via ACH, wire transfer and checks. 25%
3. Handles customer service calls for front end finance process to ensure customer understanding of finance contract requirements. 15%
4. May assist with sorting and delivering incoming mail, scanning and imaging documents, billing, performing searches for and completing UCC filings and completing insurance verifications. 5%
5. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. 5%
Requirements:
Education: High School diploma, some college preferred. Loan or lease documentation training/knowledge helpful.
Experience: 2 or more years work experience in financial services lease company or commercial bank. Prefer specific work experience in loan and lease documentation.
Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must maintain customer and product confidentiality. Ability to learn and utilize various computer systems.
Mental Demands: Must have the ability to focus on task for extended periods of time. Must be flexible and have the ability to work with a variety of tasks and employees. Ability to plan, organize, be detail and deadline oriented and maintain a high accuracy rate.
Physical Demands: Continuous sitting for extended periods of time, some standing, walking, bending and reaching. Frequent use of fingers and hands to manipulate computer, telephone and other office equipment.
