FOH Assistant Manager

Cedar Creek Grille, a premier dining destination in Beachwood, Ohio is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. Responsibilities:
As the AM, you will work closely with the management team to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring an outstanding guest experience and a positive workplace environment. Your duties will include:

• Guest Experience & Hospitality: Ensuring every guest receives exceptional service, handling guest concerns professionally, and maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
• Team Leadership & Development: Assisting in hiring, training, scheduling, and managing staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Operational Management: Overseeing daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory control, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Financial Accountability: Supporting the GM in managing budgets, tracking expenses, and analyzing financial performance to meet or exceed revenue and profitability goals.
• Marketing & Community Engagement: Assisting in promotions, events, and community outreach to enhance the restaurant’s visibility and reputation.
• Problem-Solving: Addressing and resolving operational challenges with a proactive and solution-focused approach.

Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with:

• At least 2-4 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in an upscale-casual or fine dining environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A customer-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
• A solid understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L statements and budgeting.
• A positive, solution-oriented attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond.
