We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join the leadership team at a brand-new French bistro, opening in May 2025 in the heart of Chagrin Falls. Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience & Hospitality – Ensure exceptional service standards, resolve guest concerns professionally, and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
- Team Leadership & Development – Assist in hiring, training, and managing staff, fostering a motivated and engaged work environment.
- Operational Management – Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory control, and health/safety compliance.
- Financial Accountability – Support the GM in managing budgets, controlling costs, and driving revenue to meet performance goals.
- Marketing & Community Engagement – Assist with promotions, events, and local partnerships to establish the bistro as a dining destination.
- Problem-Solving – Address operational challenges proactively and efficiently to ensure smooth service.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-4 years of restaurant management experience (upscale-casual or fine dining preferred).
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A guest-first mindset with a passion for hospitality and service.
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
- Financial acumen (understanding of P&L statements, budgeting, and cost control).
- A solution-oriented, hands-on approach with a drive for excellence.
