Site Reliability Engineer Manager - On-Stie Atlanta, GA USA
NCR Voyix is quickly accelerating its adoption of GCP and Azure Cloud technologies, so our applications can provide our customers with the enterprise grade performance and availability they have come to expect. The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role will be building tools and providing subject matter expertise the Restaurants business unit. We’ve taken an “automate everything” approach to building, deploying, and operating their services. You’ll get to establish yourself as a technical leader by utilizing a broad range of industry leading technologies and use automation to help improve product availability. This will in turn help drive the acceleration of Restaurant software portfolio.
Responsibilities :
- Manager of newly initiated High Availability Disaster Recovery team
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to shape and influence the HA and DR strategy
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and collaboration
- Establish and enforce top-level coding standards, practices, and development methodologies
- Promote innovation and the adoption of new technologies and practices within the team
- Provide guidance on performance management, professional development, and training to help team members grow
- Coordinate with other departments (Development, QA, Product) to align system capabilities with business needs and objectives
- Manage concurrent projects and engineering staff to ensure project timing is maintained.
- Ensure customer success by delivering quality solutions on schedule and within budget parameters
- Allocate resources as necessary to ensure success for all business requirements (cost, timing, quality, etc.)
- Define and track KPIs for the team
