This role involves overseeing both geotechnical and construction materials testing (CMT) projects, mentoring staff, and expanding our presence in the marketplace. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, focusing on both staff development and project delivery.
- Manage geotechnical and CMT staff, ensuring quality and efficiency in project execution.
- Review and prepare senior-level geotechnical reports.
- Drive business development by expanding client relationships and assisting in marketing efforts.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (or a related field from an ABET-accredited program).
- 10-15 years of experience in both technical and managerial roles.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Strong experience in geotechnical engineering and CMT.
- Background in military is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive business development initiatives.
