What are the responsibilities and job description for the Davis Frost Customer Service Representative position at NCS - National Coatings and Supplies?
The Customer Service Representative will process all types of coatings customers' orders. This will entail close communication with all types of customers, including potential customers. $19 per hour.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive orders by telephone, fax, or email. Process orders immediately for shipment or production.
- Assist with trade sale promotions (special pricing, sale ads from customers, sale brochures, etc.)
- Work closely with Production Manager in expediting shipments of orders.
- Assist Sales Representatives with clerical concerns (typing, filing, etc.)
- Work closely with Credit Department on past due accounts and opening new accounts.
- Assist with general office duties (typing, filing, etc.)
- Assist with returns and customer complaints.
- Adherence to all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures related to this position.
- Adherence to company policy in giving advance notice for vacation and personal leave.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- Must pass a drug test.
- Ability to deal with customers on a professional, friendly level at all time
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including word processing skills.
- Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals along with good communication and organization skills.
