About the Role

NetCov is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join our team. This critical role will require you to design and implement tailored IT and security solutions that address our clients' diverse business needs. You will be working cross-functionally with internal teams—such as product development, engineering, security operations, and sales—ensuring that solutions are aligned with both business objectives and security standards.

As a Solutions Architect, you will collaborate directly with clients, project managers, and technical teams, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution, all while focusing on ensuring the security and integrity of every solution.

Accountabilities:

• Solution Design & Architecture: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective IT and security solutions that align with business goals and industry standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, engineering, security operations, and product development teams to ensure solutions are integrated seamlessly and meet both client needs and security compliance requirements.
• Security Best Practices: Ensure every solution incorporates security by design. Advocate for security-first approaches and help clients navigate compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
• Client Consultation & Strategy: Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert consultation on IT strategy, security frameworks, and emerging technologies, all while understanding and addressing client business challenges.
• End-to-End Leadership: Lead technical efforts from discovery and architecture design through implementation and post-deployment, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Risk & Vulnerability Management: Identify potential vulnerabilities in systems and infrastructure and recommend risk mitigation strategies to clients.
• Documentation & Communication: Create comprehensive solution documentation, including architecture diagrams, security blueprints, and integration plans. Communicate complex technical information in a clear, concise way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and security innovations. Bring fresh, forward-thinking solutions to NetCov and its clients.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in IT architecture, with a strong focus on designing and implementing security solutions.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud computing, network security, endpoint protection, and compliance standards. Proficiency with security technologies such as firewalls, encryption, identity management, and more.
• Certifications: TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP, CCSP, or similar certifications are highly preferred.
• Skills:
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, security, and other teams to drive projects forward.
  • Expertise in developing cloud-based and hybrid IT infrastructure solutions with an emphasis on security.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, balancing technical feasibility with security and compliance needs.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting to both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Experience in managed services, security operations, or IT consulting environments.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and automation tools.
• Experience with security compliance audits and frameworks.

Role Logistics

• This is a full-time position
• This position may require travel to client offices where locations will vary.
• This position may require travel to industry events, Network Coverage office locations, and Network Coverage events where locations will vary.
• Salary range: $150- $165k
