Warehouse Associate (Seasonal: May – October, Part-Time to Full-Time)General Purpose of the Job
The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in the daily operations of our event rental company. This position is responsible for handling rental equipment, ensuring smooth loading and unloading processes, maintaining cleanliness and organization, assisting customers, and helping with event setups. This role requires dependability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following list outlines the primary responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate. Additional duties may be assigned as needed:
- Load and unload rental equipment from company trucks.
- Ride along on deliveries to assist with unloading and setting up tents, tables, chairs, and other event equipment at venues.
- Prepare orders in designated staging areas ahead of scheduled deliveries.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading rental equipment while ensuring they understand proper usage and safety procedures. Securely fasten items to customer vehicles when necessary.
- Clean and maintain rental equipment using pressure washers, chemicals, compressed air, and other cleaning tools.
- Inspect rental items for defects upon return and before loading for delivery.
- Report equipment issues or damages to the direct supervisor.
- Maintain accurate paperwork when counting rental items in and out.
- Keep the warehouse and dock areas clean and organized.
- Stock service areas as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Report any safety violations or concerns immediately to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all company policies and government safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be available to work weekends if needed.
- Previous warehouse, dock, or equipment handling experience is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to ride along on deliveries and assist with event setup and breakdown.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: Starting at $17 – $20 per hour, depending on warehouse experience.
- End-of-Season Bonus: Up to $1,000, based on performance during the season.
- Part-Time to Full-Time Seasonal Position: May – October.
