What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Intern- Actuarial position at ND Group?
Responsibilities :
- Perform rate reviews by state and line of business, including rate indications, disruption analyses, and state filing exhibits
- Research competitor pricing and product changes, as well as competitor growth and profitability trends
- Investigate specific questions posed by management- e.g. how the mix of business is shifting in a given state, why a book of business is deteriorating, or how changes in case reserving are impacting results
- Build clear and comprehensive dashboard reports that visually convey growth and profitability trends
- Document methodologies and findings for senior management in a manner understandable to a non-actuarial audience
- Keep current on industry and company developments
- Perform related work as required
Qualifications :
The N&D® Group has adopted a hybrid work model of 2 days remote and 3 days in office.
