South Central Human Service Center - Jamestown, ND - Maintenance Worker Temporary/Part-time status
Our mission is to provide timely and effective behavioral health services to North Dakotans improving their quality of life through achieving and sustaining recovery. Our focus is providing rehabilitative care in an integrated manner in the person's home and community.
This is a temporary position. Work involves responsibility for planning and performing routine maintenance and occasional janitorial duties as needed at South Central Human Service Center in Jamestown.
As a Maintenance Worker you will be responsible for general maintenance of South Central Human Services properties, which may include painting, patching holes, moving furniture, and assisting with occasional major and minor projects relating to general maintenance. This position will also be responsible for tasks related to the operations of South Central Human Service Center, such as ordering supplies, inventory and will also involve the preparation, operation and maintenance of equipment including State Fleet vehicles.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Knowledge of appropriate techniques and procedures to do the job, ability to apply general rules to specific problems, ability to complete work assignments accurately and with attention to detail, and ability to use tools necessary for assigned work.
To be considered for this position, you must have a High School Diploma or GED. This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
This position will be an ongoing, part-time status with an anticipated 30-40 hours per week.
