As a Nurse Aide and Medication Assistant I you will be providing care and welfare of individuals in adult & elderly populations with mental illness, developmental disabilities, addiction and/or others needing special care or services.
- Provide client-centered care for people who have a complex psychiatric history. Obtain vital signs, height and weight when clients present medication review appointments with the Psychiatrist.
- Perform level of impairment and other screening assessments to clients during medication review appointments.
- The NA/MA1 provides client-centered care and assistance to assigned clients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Organizes and prioritizes tasks and projects; accurately completing job responsibilities within the specified time constraints.
- Adheres to ethical, regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
- Respects Client Rights and promotes customer satisfaction.
- Provide various regularly scheduled activities at Missouri View Heights.
To be considered for this position you are required to have a high school diploma or GED. Will require completion of Nurse Aide Medication Assistant I Certification within 30 days of employment. Training will be provided on-site. Shifts will consist of evenings and weekends with a rotating holiday schedule
