North Dakota State Hospital - Jamestown, ND - Nurse Manager
The North Dakota State Hospital (NDSH), located in Jamestown, is a specialized psychiatric hospital that serves the whole state. Services focus on psychiatric rehabilitation, residential substance use disorders treatment, geriatric psychiatric and residential treatment for sexually dangerous individuals.
The RN Clinical Coordinator/Nurse Manager, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, provides support, direction, coordination, and general supervision for nursing employees on our Psychosocial Rehabilitation units. Assists with planning, implementing, and maintaining the quality-of-care standards for our clients.
Additionally, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and administrative management for Nursing services provided for areas assigned. You will act as a resource and facilitate collaboration between nursing personnel and other health care disciplines throughout the hospital. Furthermore, this role will be instrumental in assisting with planning and development of policies and processes. You will be accountable for promoting ongoing development of staff and for maintaining a professional environment in which all staff can grow and develop.
To be considered for this position, you must be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing, experience in Long-Term Care and Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing is preferred and at least two years in a leadership position.
