State Hospital -Jamestown, ND - Radiology Services Manager
Manage two essential healthcare services in a smaller, independent department and make a significant impact on patient care by providing radiology and dental services to clients at the North Dakota State Hospital (NDSH), as well as radiology services to the James River Correctional Center (JRCC). This is a full-time position with Monday through Friday day hours.
As a Radiology Services Manager, you will execute radiographic imaging for interpretation, ensure proper maintenance of radiology equipment, and manage client files. You will oversee the department's budget, procure supplies and services, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. You will collaborate closely with physicians to ensure results are delivered timely and accurately.
In addition to your radiology responsibilities, you will assist the dentist with patient care, including chairside assistance, sterilization, and record-keeping. You will manage patient schedules, ensuring appointments are efficiently coordinated. You will also help oversee dental operations, including maintaining client files and ensuring compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards. Furthermore, you will manage procurement and ensure that dental equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
To be successful in the Radiology Services Manager position, you must take a patient-centered approach, focusing on dignity and respect. You should possess strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. Being detail-oriented, adaptable, and willing to learn new skills as part of on-the-job training is essential. The North Dakota State Hospital (NDSH), located in Jamestown, is a specialized psychiatric hospital that serves the whole state. Services focus on psychiatric rehabilitation, residential substance use disorders treatment, and residential treatment for sexually dangerous individuals.
