Life Skills and Transition Center - Grafton, ND - Student Experience - Adaptive Equipment and Therapy Services
See PT and OT in action! Put your hands on equipment used every day in therapy services. Life Skills and Transition Center (LSTC) in Grafton is hosting a student experience in the Adaptive Equipment and Therapy Services department this summer.
No weekends and no nights necessary! This student experience will be 10-20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
What you will be doing:
- Clean and sanitize therapy equipment
- Prepare and maintain a safe, clean and orderly treatment area
- Assist with adaptive equipment inventory
- Observe and shadow therapists in their work
About You:
You have the following skills:
- Like and know how to organize
- Able to perform basic cleaning
- Comfortable with basic tools such as a hammer and screwdriver
- Curiosity
- A professional, positive attitude is essential
- General computer knowledge is important
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Required Qualifications:
- At least 16 years old
- Lifting up to 10-25 pounds may be required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a vocational tech program
