These technical experts support our democracy programs in nearly 60 countries through a diverse set of services, including applied research, group training, one-to-one consulting, technical assistance, and direct implementation. Within these democracy programs, the areas of focus often include:

- Elections (ELECT)
- Gender, Women and Democracy (GW)
- Governance (GOV)
- Grant & Program Management (PM)
- Information and Communications Technologies (ICT)
- Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
