Job Location: The Dance Barns - Santa Fe, NM
Position Type: Part Time
Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 Hourly
Description
Purpose of role: To support the planning and production of NDI New Mexico’s North and Santa Fe End-of-Year Events, performances involving several hundred school children and community members. This role requires onsite hours averaging 20-25 hours a week.
Primary responsibilities:
- Coordinates event logistics with participating public school staff and faculty including schedules, meals, transportation, and other event needs.
- Coordinates event logistics with parents of participating students in Advanced Teams programs regarding rehearsal schedules, pick/up drop off times, and other event needs
- Manages communication and contracts with vendors and other part-time event support staff.
- Coordinates parent volunteers to support event
- On-site point person to lead coordination between artistic and production staff and participating partners
- Supports Program Director and other staff with preparation of materials for staff production meetings
- Attends regular planning meetings, utilizes and documents activities in shared timeline, and ensures clear, thorough, and timeline communication to coordinate event needs
Qualifications
Job Specific Requirements:
- College education preferred
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Excellent computer skills, MS Office Suite
- Requires 1-3 years in job related duties- event planning
- Customer service experience,
- Ability to create positive relationships with all constituents of the program
- Highly professional conduct
