Job Summary: The Bartender maintains effective communication with guests and fellow team members. Specific forms of communication include answering questions, making suggestions regarding Food & Beverage Service, writing down orders, requesting identification from guests when legal age is questionable, relaying food orders to the kitchen, answering phone properly and articulating a working knowledge of the Resort and Food & Beverage Department.
Responsibilities:
- Serve food and beverage to guests according to standard operating procedures
- Ensure high standard of sanitation and hygiene in the work area
- Perform cashiering tasks according to the set standards
- Carry food and beverage trays up to 10 pounds throughout the dining area including going up and down the stairs
- Maintain cleanliness of various restaurant areas to ensure guest satisfaction
- Constantly review standard food presentation, service and operating procedures
- Ensure that all guest orders and related requests are carried out along with any reports or complaints
- Able to drive resort vehicles for delivery orders
- Handle any side duties as assigned by their trainer
Requirement:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility
- Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
- Bartenders must be able to work outside in cold or hot temperatures
