Outfitter Guide

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Outfitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for the outdoors, enabling them to provide exceptional guidance and support to our customers. As an Outfitter, you will play a crucial role in educating customers about our services while ensuring they have a memorable shopping experience.

Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Educate customers on the features and benefits of various outdoor gear and equipment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Demonstrate strong public speaking skills during product demonstrations or workshops.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring all merchandise is well-displayed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Utilize effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with diverse clientele, leveraging bilingual or multilingual abilities when necessary.
• -Keep logs of clients/customers (i.e. phone calls, emails, texts etc.)
• Engage with customers while processing their requests and interests
• Handle company emails, phone calls, texts and website interest
• Help work with local partners and contact and create new partnerships
• Provide knowledge of outdoor equipment to customers and associates
• Maintain close contact with year-round members and help bring in additional members

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service is preferred, particularly in outdoor or sporting goods environments.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
• Proficiency in public speaking and the ability to educate groups on product usage and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.40 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
