Job Title: Postdoctoral Fellow
Part Time Position 22.5 hours (3 days) per week for 16 weeks (April to August)
Salary Range: Biweekly $1350 to $1440
General Position Description: Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, Ian David Aronson, Ph.D., the Postdoctoral Fellow, will be part of a large project designed to encourage participants to vaccinate against COVID-19. The project is in the Center for Technology-based Education and Community Health at NDRI-USA and is funded by NIH/NIDA. The position offers extensive publication opportunities and experience working with an established team of professional researchers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Conduct thorough literature reviews.
· Work closely with the Principal Investigator and other study team members to analyze data and write up study findings.
· Assist in interpretation of qualitative and quantitative findings.
· Gain knowledge of and remain current on relevant scientific and industry research techniques.
· Interface with internal and external scientists on collaborative programs.
· Other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Earned doctorate in the social and behavioral sciences or a related field is preferred. Advanced students who are close to degree completion will also be considered.
· Ability to work onsite in New York City at the direction of study leadership.
· Experience working with people who use drugs.
· Lived or living experience with substance use and/or the criminal justice system are also desired.
· Excellent written communication skills required.
· Collaborative work style with eagerness to continually learn and grow.
Salary : $1,350 - $1,440
