Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans that meet project specifications. This role requires proficiency in various drafting software and a strong understanding of design principles across multiple disciplines, including mechanical and product engineering. Glass design highly desired.
Duties
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Create schematics and layouts for various projects.
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Carbon, and others to produce high-quality designs.
- Prepare mechanical design drawings, including assembly instructions and parts lists.
- Create visual representations of designs using Sketchup and 2D animation tools.
- Review and modify existing drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation.
Skills
- Proficiency in drafting software including AutoCAD, Blender, and Sketchup.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to create detailed schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
