What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Operations position at NDS?
Assist in checking drivers in/out, emailing customers in a timely manner with updates regarding shipments, sending transload charges & additional fees, data entry, etc.
Container experience is a plus, but is not required.
Light assistance in the warehouse itself as far as photos, organizing, counting, inventory
Summary
In the Warehouse Operations role, you will be integral to the efficient management of materials handling and logistics within our distribution center. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your responsibilities will include performing data entry tasks related to shipping and receiving, additional to daily warehouse operations for shipping/receiving. Your core skills in warehouse operations will ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards. Join us to contribute to a productive and organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Organizational skills is a MUST!
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and materials handling
- Familiarity with distribution center processes and order picking
- Experience with shipping and receiving, including data entry tasks
- Keeping customers updated in a timely manner
- Simple addition & subtraction
- Ability to make judgement calls based on company standards
- Minimum 35 WPM typing
- Familiarity with Microsoft
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required
- Container experience is a plus, but is not required
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in the warehouse environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.23 - $20.35 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
