The Director of Information Technology will lead and oversee the organization’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role is responsible for managing IT systems, processes, and infrastructure while driving innovation and operational efficiency. The Director of IT will play a critical role in managing the Epicor ERP environment and ensuring seamless technology integration across all business units.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
Oversee and manage IT projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and project scope.
Maintain, enhance, and optimize the Epicor ERP system through collaboration with outsourced providers and internal stakeholders.
Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices for system security, data integrity, and infrastructure maintenance.
Drive technology improvements, including hardware, software, and network upgrades, to enhance operational efficiency.
Lead system implementations and IT integration efforts for acquisitions.
Manage external IT service providers, ensuring contract compliance and optimal service delivery.
Develop and maintain management information reporting systems to support decision-making and operational transparency.
Implement and maintain standards for CMMC compliance and cybersecurity best practices.
Oversee IT support and troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess technology needs and implement scalable IT solutions.
Manage and track IT budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and strategic investments.
Provide leadership and guidance to the IT team, fostering professional growth and continuous learning.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
Extensive experience with Epicor ERP, including implementation, maintenance, and optimization.
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and enterprise systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage IT projects and drive technology initiatives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other enterprise software solutions.
Experience ensuring IT compliance with regulatory requirements, including CMMC.
Ability to travel occasionally to company locations as needed.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of seven years of IT leadership experience, with a focus on ERP systems and enterprise IT management.
Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus.
This is a hybrid position with travel required to all NE-XT locations on a monthly basis.
