About the Hospital and Department:
- Hospital: Financially sound, growing 150 bed non-profit community hospital part of a well-respected multi campus health system with multiple locations
- Director of Quality (RN) is a hospital based position and will direct the Quality Department with a team of five (5) direct reports
- Reports to a dynamic and collaborative Vice President
The Quality Director (RN) will provide the strategic direction for the department, ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, manage and mentor a team of 5 FTE's, develop goals and objectives for the department, establish positive and collaborative relationships across the hospital and health system, and manage the financial performance for the department.
Qualifications & Requirements for RN Director, Quality
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required / Master's degree preferred
- Minimum seven (7) years nursing experience with at least three (3) years progressive Quality Department leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting (Manager level or above)
- CPHQ is preferred
- Effective team builder who is able to manage multiple projects, provide the strategic vision for the department, and build positive staff and physician relationships
