Your Role

As the WIC Coordinator at Near North Health, you will lead a dynamic team to deliver vital nutrition and wellness services to families in need. You’ll oversee all aspects of the WIC program, from ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations to training and mentoring staff. Your role will involve crafting innovative outreach strategies, managing program resources, and collaborating with community partners to enhance the integration of WIC services. Through your leadership and dedication, you’ll empower participants to make healthier choices, improve health outcomes, and strengthen the overall well-being of our community.

Qualifications 

• Education Requirements: Master's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent work experience. Successful completion of an American Dietetic Association approved internship in dietetics.

• Licensure/Certification: Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN).

• Years of Experience: At least four years of professional nutrition experience, with at least two years in a supervisory or consultative role.

Compensation 

Compensation is determined based on each candidate’s experience, skills, and education, within the established range for the role. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements will typically start at the entry level of the range, with additional qualifications reflected in the final compensation package.
