NEARI School is growing and is seeking skilled, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team! NEARI School, a twelve month day school for learning disabled, neurologically challenged and mental health students ages 7-22, is looking for a Behavior Interventionist skilled at working with at-risk students with behavior and mental health needsCandidates must have the ability to form trusting and supportive relationships, apply trauma informed behavioral interventions.The Behavioral Interventionist will be part of a collaborative team and will assist children and youth to increase their skills in school and in the community. Interventionist's work directly with individual students to implement their behavior support plans and IEP's. The Interventionist assists with teaching communication, motor, academic, social, self care, functional living, and play skills - while assisting to reduce challenging behaviors.The Interventionist will work under the guidance of the Lead Interventionist to implement behavior programs and student support within the school and community setting.
