Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs, following best industry practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Frontend Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers, to implement new features and functionalities.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and suggest improvements for system optimization.
- Lead API design efforts, including RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and GRPC, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and usability standards.
- Champion initiatives aimed at enhancing platform security and ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain unit and API tests to guarantee system reliability, robustness, and resilience.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional backend development experience, with a focus on creating scalable, high-performance systems.
- Expertise in Go programming and a strong understanding of Kubernetes.
- Proven experience working with open-source databases like PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in designing and developing APIs, including RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and GRPC.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and containerization tools such as Docker.
- Solid understanding of Cryptographic Principles, Tokenomics, and Decentralized Identity (DID).
- In-depth knowledge of database design, schema optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience in Payments, Blockchain, or similar industries is highly desirable.
