Residential Service Manager
Action Air conditioning, Heating and Solar branch is part of the NearU organization focused on delivering high-quality, professional services in the San Diego area.
NearU is a people-centric, process-driven, and technology-enabled customer service platform dedicated to revolutionizing the home services industry by vastly improving the customer and employee experience.
Reports To : General Manager
Hours : Full Time
Location : San Diego
Compensation : We pay competitive market rates dependant on experience and qualifications, this role will be between $90-120k plus bonus

Summary : As a Residential Service Manager you will lead, guide, and support the residential service team. You will be responsible for guiding the office on scheduling, ordering, and supporting the field staff.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional appearance and be respectful
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner as a company representative while in commercial business or home
- Document all findings and recommendations
- Able to help troubleshoot HVAC equipment, ductwork and controls
- Commissioning & Startup HVAC equipment
- Excellent communication skills with team members & office staff
- Maintain high level of integrity
- Practice proper safety
- Grow the maintenance agreements each month
- Oversee sales office coordinators
- Make sure calls are routed for success each day
- Lead, guide, and train the service techs on a weekly and monthly basis
- Team player
- Maintain all company issued tools and vehicle (oil changes, wash and organize)
- Monitor and maintain daily, monthly revenue and margin goals
- Track revenue goals by week so you understand if you are on pace or behind to hit your target
- Review P&L’s on a monthly basis to see if numbers are accurate
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures and participate in our overall “Safety Team” meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
