Senior Accountant
Location : Charlotte, NC
Hybrid : 3-4 days per week in the office

The opportunity - The Senior Accountant will work within our rapid growth private-equity backed company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced, high-energy individual looking to be a key contributor to the growth of this acquisition-focused home services provider. Responsibilities
- Perform monthly financial close functions through preparation of financial statements
- Monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
- Monthly narrative analysis of significant financial variances month over month
- Maintain internal control safeguards over company assets and operating environment.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve documentation of processes and procedures to produce consistent reporting of financial results of multiple business units
- Understand and maintain ERP system operations, identifying and correcting system issues as necessary to maintain integrity of financial information.
- Prepare and / or review workpapers and schedules to ensure audit readiness
- Act as a Peer Advisor and mentor for new staff and provide valuable feedback
- Providing training to non-financial personnel on internal control compliance, accounting procedures and financial statement review.
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by leader, special projects, and ad hoc needs as they arise
