Landscape Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the task and be able to explain why the task is being done.

Duties

• Communicate to the customer what to expect and why the task is being done.
• Lawn Mowing: Mowing, edging, and trimming the lawn to promote healthy growth.
• Property Clean Up: Cutting back perennials, deadheading flowers, removing fallen limbs, removing leaves, and weeding.
• Pruning: Thinning pruning, heading pruning, renewal pruning, and sheering according to the plant needs.
• Mulching: Edging landscape beds, and spreading mulch.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
• Familiarity with pruning practices, lawn maintenance techniques, and garden management is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand tools and landscaping machinery safely and efficiently.
• A strong work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
