Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team across our 3 restaurants. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our establishment. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations, exceptional customer service, and a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties:
- Supervise and lead a team of employees, providing guidance and support
- Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff members
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Assist with scheduling shifts and managing labor costs
- Utilize POS system to process orders, payments, and track sales
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop strategies for improving restaurant performance
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of food service operations, including cooking techniques and food safety protocols
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
