What are the responsibilities and job description for the MIS Manager position at Neaton Auto Products Manufacturing?
Primary Role in the Organization:
Insure all computer systems and equipment are available to perform needed business functions to maintain all business activities. Provide any necessary support to the user group to allow them to complete all tasks required by our customers, suppliers, and business partners.
Reports To:
Vice President
Supervises:
Network Administrator, Software Developer and Coordinators
Responsibilities:
- Manager information systems department to develop, optimize, test & secure information systems and equipment, including, but not limited to:
Company Network
E-mail system
Phone system
Company Intranet
Company website
Shop floor reporting system (custom)
ERP System
2) Ensure training for company associates in above systems.
3) Oversee company security equipment.
4) Prepare and oversee capital and expense budgets and make purchase recommendations.
5) Ensure compliance with external standards, such as TS-16949, J-Sox, Corporate Governance, etc.
6) Develop & supervise department associates, including preparation / administration of performance reviews.
Qualifications:
A. Experience
1.) Advanced technical training 3 years MIS experience.
2.) Progressive training & experience in systems & procedures.
3.) Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct employees.
B. Education
1.) Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Computer Science or MIS 3 years MIS experience.
