This individual will be responsible for managing numerous life-cycles of applicable projects, including developing estimates and jobs using estimating software, scheduling, preparing subcontracts, change orders, purchase orders, and abides by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.

Constructors is looking for a Project Manager to join our team! This individual will be responsible for managing numerous life-cycles of applicable projects, including developing estimates and jobs using estimating software, scheduling, preparing subcontracts, change orders, purchase orders, and abides by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manages numerous projects, from estimate stage to punch list, with 2-3 estimates going on at any given time.
- Develops estimates using appropriate bid software and maintaining current projects using HCSS HeavyJob cost controls system.
- Prepares job proposals in a timely manner, with complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develops and maintains a project master schedule using Primavera P6 software using input from project personnel.
- Manages project budget, financials, Critical Success Factors, close out, and Client Satisfaction Results.
- Management of all project team members (Superintendents, foreman, crew members, etc.).
- Project Controls Management, including subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, etc.
- Compiles and maintains historical job data into a usable function to aid in capturing future work.
- Maintains job files in a neat and orderly fashion.
- General office duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field; and
- 5-7 years’ experience in project management in construction industry; or
- equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid drivers’ license
- Knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
- Primavera and HCSS estimating software experience a PLUS but not necessary, however, must be capable of learning the systems to perform the job.
- Strong knowledge and experience in transportation project management and engineering in the fields related to Highways, Roadways, and Bridges.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret and accurately obtain necessary information from related source documents/data such as design plans and specifications, and other reference materials.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of contractors, customers, and the general public.
- Knowledge of mathematical concepts and operations with ability to apply them to related tasks.
- Must be able to define problems, collect data, evaluate resource documents, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
