Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Dry Cleaning Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a knack for providing great customer service. You will play a key role in ensuring our customers' garments are processed efficiently and with care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with the intake of garments for dry cleaning.
- Properly tag and record clothing using a computer, printer, and barcode scanner.
- File and retrieve orders using a dry cleaner conveyor system.
- Maintain accurate customer information and order records.
- Prepare garments for cleaning by inspecting and identifying specific care instructions.
- Ensure garments are sorted, handled, and returned in pristine condition.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
- Comfortable using computers, printers, and barcode scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to operate dry cleaner conveyors and handle garments safely.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
Schedule:
Day shifts only; flexible scheduling available.
Compensation:
