Nebraska Cancer Specialists (NCS) is searching for an Nuclear Med Technologist to join our incredible team! The Nuclear Med Technologist will be involved in treatment and clinical research protocols that involve preparing radioactive drugs and administering them to patients.
What You’ll Do:
- Operates and maintains nuclear medicine equipment to assure optimum clarity for physician diagnosis and minimal discomfort and radiation exposure to the patient.
- Performs PET/CT scans and radiotherapy procedures.
- Performs and analyzes quality control procedures for all instrumentation.
- Assist the research team with patient studies

Requirements
- Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine Technology as normally acquired through completion of an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science.
- 1700 hours of clinical instruction required.
- Registry eligible (ARRT (n) or CNMT) with credentialing within one (1) year of hire required.
- Certified by the NMTCB(CT)or obtain NMTCB(CT) certification within one year of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with I.V. set up skills preferred.
